DO INJURIES AFFECT A TEAM?
BY CHRISTOFER CIFUENTES
My story is about Webster Peters he is an LMS music teacher that also teaches football at Compton High School. He started coaching the offensive line in 2005.
But my question is, how do injuries affect a team, so I interviewed Mr. Peters because he’s a football coach and I think that football is one of the toughest sports in the world. So how do injuries affect teams? Is my question.
I think injuries do affect teams because last season the Giants, Raiders, and the Packers all got affected by injuries in their teams. This season the Raiders didn't make it to the playoff because Derek Carr got injured. Also, Aaron Rodgers got injured and the Packers didn’t make it to the playoffs this season. Odell Beckham Jr. got injured and the Giants didn’t make it the playoffs this season.
Also, with the interview I had with Mr. Peters he said that he was practicing when one of his players had a seizure. It did affect his team and they lost the game after the player had the seizure.
So basically, what I'm saying is that injuries do affect teams. Also, what I noticed from all the interviews and my research is that you're not a team if you're missing a player.

Revolution Dance Team pushes dancers to be the best that they can be. They get a lot of practice. RDT gives good discipline to make dancers better.
We prepare for competitions by practicing two times a week. Sometimes three or more. We show elementary and mini, mascots our dance and they show us their dances like hip-hop and coaches will tell us if we made it or not.
We learned how to do the mermaid position and military dance. We also learned to do our turns for pom and drill. We learned that our team is very competitive towards other dance teams. Overall, our team has improved on skills and dances.

WHY DID YOU STOP?
BY ANA RODRIGUEZ
Why did you stop doing gymnastics? Gymnastics is a very dangerous sport. I interviewed Mrs. Benjamin, a gymnastics coach. Mrs. Benjamin stopped doing gymnastics for many reasons.
Mrs. Benjamin started gymnastics when she was just 7 years old. She never mastered her middle splits. Flexibility is one of the hardest things to do in gymnastics.
Mrs. Benjamin stopped because of the work, “I reached the level 9 and the amount that I needed was a lot. My coach wanted me to quit doing my sport,” said Mrs. Benjamin
Then she decided to coach gymnastics. ”Once I quit competing, I returned to my gym and began coaching." "I began coaching because I love gymnastics and I want to share this experience with the young girls at the gym." "Coaching is my passion, I havent stopped since I started!“ said Mrs. Benjamin.
Mrs. Benjamin has decided she will go back or keep coaching gymnastics and cheer. I learned a lot about Mrs. Benjamin and I never knew flexibility was harded for her and she couldn’t do her middle splits. I also leaned a little about her childhood.

SOCCER EXPERIENCE
BY ANAMARIA ZEPEDA
Would someone go back to playing sports after 3 surgeries? Many soccer players have gone through serious injuries during their career. I interviewed my dad, Moises who had played soccer since he was 6 years old. My dad had an interesting experience while playing soccer.
Moises started playing soccer at the age of 5 and 6. He played with his siblings and with some friends. He also saw people playing soccer on the TV and wanted to be like them.
A friend of Moises helped him be on a team. His friends name is David Cadena. The team that he was in was called Lion de Lima. His coach name was Roman.
Moises had 3 surgeries. He had a doctor name Dr. Pascaly told him that he needed to have 2 surgeries. Moises said that he had to start to work. Years later Moises was working on the roof and fell down and hurt his leg.
Soccer is fun, but there are other ways also that you might get hurt. By interviewing my dad Moises, I learned more about him. I did not change my point of view about my dad’s experience of soccer. I learned more things about him when he was young.
